What kind of week has it been.

Again i know its been a while guys but we have been busy.

Travelling like 10 million miles on a bus is very tedious but to be honest its been good and the people have been pretty good as well.

So basically have done brisbane and australia zoo, all good carnage.
Then we started travelling (with the worst hangover ever from brisbane) and we stopped at set overnight places where we were able to just do a few activities and then move on the next day.

Scooteroo was funny as hell, driving mini harley davidsons around in flame covered helmets and leather jackets (oh the sight).

Then we stopped at a cattle rach which was pretty much like our jackarro school but obviously every1 else hadnt seen that kind of stuff before. Quad biking though was a particular highlight and bonus on this part of the trip.

then i cant remember maybe fraser island ( actually come to think of it maybe frasers was first after brisbane) anyway its a sand island where you can drive 4x4 around and camp with a group of people. it was good fun and messy times were had by many. but it did rain, oh yeah thats right its rained constantly for about 2 weeks maybe more. but now that we are in airlie beach to visit the whitsunday islands the weather has cleared and yes both me and shane immidiately caught the sun on a one day boat trip.

any way all is good, leave here tomorrow, heading to townsville, to go to magnetic island where we shall celebrate my birthday( nothing special just copiuous amounts of alcohol im guessing) with a couple of people we have met. joanna and simone i think maybe another cant remember.

then to cairns for scuba diving pretty much then new zealand, hopefully another update by then.

Spk soon,
feel free to FB or email back or questions ppl. always nice to hear from you.

old man look at your life i'm a lot like you were.

So,

hello again. 3rd woofing farm was a bit weird to put it politely. people lived by some biodynaical bullshit laws where the only plant food when the moon is down and drink milk that hasnt been produced during these times. all very weird.

anyway Jackaroo school was great. pretty much learning natural horsemanship techniques and riding a horse. pictures will follow at some point. did loads of stuff too much to explain the details but we met dan and joanna there who we have now travelld to byron bay with, via a lift with tim, an aussie guy on the school too. Tim very kindly drove us for basically free for 6 hours to byron on his way to brisbane. we have since met up and been out with him for a few drinks and we shall keep in touch and meet again next week in brisbane.

his friend who came out has offered us a place to stay so we are hoping to take him up on this offer.

the plan for brisbane next week (or from thursday) is to go to australia zoo and a theme park and then generally hang out and see tim again.
will be cool if we are still travelling with dan and joanna but not sure when our plans will make us part.

some photos have gone up on Fb but more are to follow, a couple of silly vids are also on the blog.

see the local lads a fighter, loves a winner to fall...

so hello,

im writing to you all from bellingen, small cool relaxed little hostel. decided to just do a week at the bee farm place. not that it was bad or didnt enjoy it, did loads stuff, plenty of swimming holes and climbed the local mountain and the people were great.

also had australia day ( a little american for my liking) pretty standard not alot but community get togethers.

had 3 dayss in coffs harbour, small tourist town basically nothing there and it rained. last night we did get horrifically drunk on the 'goon' with a couple of workers and other travellers which led to a day of pretty much nothing but travelling for 1 hour and feeling like death. (missed our bus in the am too).

in bellingen booked a deal to do a canoe trip, which was great last night. and today did an 8 k hike through rainforest ( imagine the sweat leavels guys) but also some great sights and lunch under a waterfall. pictures will follow.

also swam at another waterfall after this and it was pretty sweet swimming through it too.
our surf lesson has had to be cancelled though as waves and swash are pretty dangerous (  if they are anything like coffs were then im not too disapointed as it was mental).

one farm from monday to friday nxt week the tamworth for jackaroo school. thats about all.

manning.
ps ed and tom ur phone calls were at the end of the goon drinking night. im sorry.

in this social chaos...

So .... where to begin. its been ages i know and i promised to keep people updated but as internet has been an issue i hope you will all find the recent photo updates and this blog enough as i do not have the time or patience to respond to every1 from the last 4 weeks.

Since b4 we have had a good xmas with family friends of mine, i have attended a cricket match in sydney and we have had a wild encounter NYE on a boat on sydney harbour.

(btw anyhelp on how to upload videos to fb or net so ppl can see would be much appreciated)(they are big files so have timing issues for uploading)

NYE was ace, amazing and funny. cricket was a great day out with a stranger and some heavy auz drinkers.

We went to taronga zoo xmas eve, forgot about that. was also a good day and our first taste of ridiculous blazing sunshine. all of these events now have photo albums on facebook.

We have done some work on a farm through the wwoof scheme. thats willing workers on organic farms. First was two weeks in bobin creek, in the manning valley of the manning river. and monday we head off to gloucester to a bee farm/ animal care place where we will also do odd jobs domestic chores and animal pooper scooping.

Then we head to Tamworth for our jackeroo school and an all out country 10 days or so. we miss the month long country and western music festival by about a week which is gutting.

Went to big day out today, Uk bands owned, oz music is poor. and this is not just another overexxagerated manning comment. the majority of them suck. Muse Kasabian both awesome, dizzee rascal and lily allen enjoyable but as it was 41 deg C and full sunshine and humidity at like 75 oh and plus the breeze burnt your skin. weidest feeling ever. shanes eyes were apparently being burnt when the wind blew.

any gaps in this please feel free to ask about our trip, its always nice, its just difficult to respond urgently. sorry.

All is well, still have money and plenty of things to sort out. probs speak again in 2 weeks after farm work.

P.S. can someone get Ed Lyon to give me a low down on how in the hell the english football season is going.

Transfers, form guides, results etc etc etc. thanks.
